The following are upcoming events that we think you will enjoy

*Let’s show our ministers and staff how much we appreciate them and all they do for congregation and communities. We will be collecting a Love Offering now through December 19. You can catch either Jay or Darla before or after church…Darla will be stationed near the coat room.  Or you can mail checks to 556 N 2700 East Rd, Milford IL 60953.  If you need to use Venmo or PayPal, let Darla know and she can get you the information.

*Young at Heart – the Young at Heart (60+) will meet each Tuesday at 1:00 PM in the church gym for games and socializing. Please join the group for a great time of fellowship!

*Prayer Meetings – Each Wednesday evening, a small group meets in the Sanctuary to pray for revival at 6:30 PM. Everyone is welcome to join!

*The first Sunday of each month we will be collecting specific item for the Food Pantry. This is a great way to help others in our community.  The month of December will be any paper products.

*Crossroads Youth Center needs 2 volunteers from MCC for Monday and Thursday of the third week of each month from 3:15-5:30 pm. If you have any questions or can help, please see Haran Ziebart or Tricia Huff.

*The Church Board will meet on Wednesday, December 10th. Elders will meet at 6:30 and full board will meet at 7:00 pm.

*The Outreach team will be collecting school supplies. There is a list of needed items on the table in the foyer. Thanks!

*The CrossRoads Youth Center can use donations of snacks and drinks.  To donate items or financial contributions, please contact Carol Highfill or leave at MCC marked “Youth Center”.

*Youth Group Annual Christmas Shopping Trip is December 7th.  Bus leaves MCC at noon for Tippecanoe Mall in Lafayette, IN.  Bus returns to MCC at 5:00 pm.

*The Christmas Cantata will be conducted on December 14th at 6:30 pm. This years cantata is ‘A Child is Born…All is Well’.  The cantata encompasses everything Christmas is truly about and will take you back to the moment that everything changed, the moment that brought hope, peace, joy, and love into our world. The moment the world could finally say, A Child is Born…All is well!

*Make plans to join us on Wednesday, December 24th for a Christmas Eve Service from 6:00-6:30 pm. The Church will be open from 6:30-10:00 pm for walk in candlelight communion.

*If you would like to donate a poinsettia in honor/memory of a loved one, you are welcome to bring them to the church anytime.

*Jo Francis is starting her HOT project. If anyone wants to order a crocheted lap blanket, see Jo. You choose the colors, pay for the yarn, and donate $20.00 to HOT and Jo will make your blanket. Enjoy the winter months with a nice arm blanket and help feed the hungry.

*We are in need of scripture readers and greeters. Please see the sign-up sheets on the table in the foyer.

*Looking for ways to help serve?? The Church is in need of help with operating a camera and computer for the streaming of services on Sunday mornings. If you are interested, contact Brent.

King’s Club

King’s Club is an after-school program for preschool to 5th grade on Wednesday afternoons following school dismissal at 3:30 pm.
